DIGITAL MOISTURE TESTER FOR TEXTILES
Multifunctional portable digital instrument for the instantaneous reading of moisture in textile materials (bales, slivers, yarns, fabrics) as well as of ambient temperature and RH%. The operating principle to determine the moisture content in the material to be tested is based on the measurement of the material’s electrical conductivity, which is always proportional to the moisture content. 20 pre-set direct reading scales of the most common textile raw materials - both pure and blended - are already stored and available in the Humy Tester III. In order to test other fibers and blends that are not pre-set, an additional comparison scale with range “0-100” is available in the instrument.

Portable digital instrument for instantaneous reading of the residual moisture percentage (%) contained in textiles. In the Humy Tester III, 20 preset scales - previously stored - are available for the direct reading of most common textile materials, such as: 100% wool, 100% cotton, 100% rayon, viscose, 100% linen, 100% paper, 100% nylon, 100% acrylic, 100% polyester, 50% + 50% viscose wool-rayon, 60% + 40% ... , etc.).
For other fibers and blends, whose electronic scales are not present in the instrument, specific conversion scales to determine the moisture content can be found in the Instruction & User Manual of Humy Tester III.
Thanks to a special probe (available as optional), the Humy Tester III can also measure ambient temperature and relative humidity.
